The air was cold, it was fall 1994
The power went out, and the sky turned black
My brother and I, felt compelled to leave the house
The darkness called us, so we went out
A single point, lit up the backyard trees
It grew in size as it came closer to us
My brother and I, terrified, we couldn’t move
It took control of us, what could we do?
We flew through the forest for a few hours
With this otherworldly being
It shined bright in the shadows that night
I still don’t know what we were seeing
It took us home, slowly backed away from us
And in an instant, shot into the sky
My brother and I never speak a word of that night
Who would believe us if we told them?
